Two weekly rendezvous 2 km from the campsite
Friday Morning: Downtown’s Must-See
Fouesnant’s Friday market is held in the heart of the town, just 5 km from Les Saules. It’s the biggest market of the week in Fouesnant, and the one where you’ll find the most local producers and artisans.
Saturday Morning: The Weekend Version
The Saturday market in Fouesnant is more compact, but just as charming. Ideal if you arrive at your accommodation in Fouesnant at the end of the week and want to stock up for the weekend. Same location as Friday, same proximity: 5 km from the campsite.
Summer markets in Fouesnant : Beg-Meil on Wednesday
From July to August, a morning market is held in Beg-Meil on Wednesdays, about 10 km from the campsite. It’s the perfect opportunity to combine a market with a swim: do your shopping, then head straight down to Beg-Meil beach for an ocean-view picnic.
À Deux Pas: The Port-La-Forêt Night Market
Every Tuesday evening in July and August, the Port-La-Forêt night market opens at 6pm. It’s our absolute favorite! Just 2 km from Les Saules (literally “a stone’s throw away”), this harbor-side market offers a unique atmosphere: producer stalls, Breton crafts, food trucks, and often live music.
You’ll find everything you need for a perfect Breton aperitif: Bélon oysters, rillettes de la mer, mature cheeses, and of course cider bouché. The perfect way to extend your summer days.
