The Mielimer workshop, run by Régis Le Guen since 1990, is an ideal family visit. Here, visitors can learn about the importance of bees and taste a variety of artisanal honeys, including buckwheat honey.

Claire Galéron grows aromatic and medicinal plants. She created the Sentier des arômes, located in Saint-Évarzec.

Esprit Safran & Cie: Bigouden red gold

Located in Pouldreuzic, Esprit Safran & Cie specializes in the production of organic saffron, as well as aloe vera and turmeric. The farm, which covers 2,500 m², was founded in 2011 in response to a desire to enhance the richness of Brittany’s soils while respecting the environment. Saffron, nicknamed “red gold”, is harvested by hand, guaranteeing superior quality, particularly appreciated by chefs and gourmets. In addition to pure saffron, the store offers a range of saffron products such as honey and vinegar. Bigouden butter from Kervannes farm

GAEC de Kervannes is a 200-hectare farm, including 120 hectares of meadows. The farm consists of 150 dairy cows of crossbred Holstein and Normande breeds. The cows are fed conventionally, with grass, hay, corn and alfalfa.

The farm offers free guided tours every day in summer and by appointment in winter. You’ll also be able to sample our high-quality, handcrafted churned butter. You can also buy other local products from the farm, such as milk, cheese, jam and honey.

Le Guilloux: fresh, seasonal fish and shellfish

Ile Tudy is a paradise for seafood lovers. It’s here that Erwan Le Guilloux practises small-scale fishing, enabling him to come ashore every day with the day’s catch. He uses a variety of techniques, including line, net, trap and dredge, enabling him to offer a wide range of species.

You will find on Erwan’s stall :

Fish: sea bass, mackerel, sea bream, red mullet, etc. Crustaceans: spiders, lobsters, etc. Shellfish: Glénan clams, etc.

Fishing boatUkie II

The Ukie II fishing boat, located in Lesconil in Finistère, is an excellent address for quality products. Morgan and Alex, the owners, work as a couple to bring you the best catches of the day.

Every morning, Alex heads out to sea to catch fish and shellfish. On his return, Morgan prepares and sells them direct from the port of Lesconil.

The products on offer are caught daily, in season and sustainably (boats less than 12 meters long, fishing within the 12-mile limit). You’ll find a wide variety of fish, including red mullet, gurnard, pout, old cod, sea bass and dogfish. Crustaceans also feature prominently, with lobsters, crawfish, spiders and curlews.

Les Bigoudènes Gluten-Free: Ancient and Sustainable Cereals

In Brittany, the farm “Les Bigoudènes Sans Gluten” promotes a holistic approach to agriculture, valorizing ancient cereals and practicing organic farming that respects the environment.

Les Bigoudènes Sans Gluten” farm produces and sells a variety of cereals, including millet in flour or husked, buckwheat in flour, fresh or canned potatoes and squash, and eggs from animal-friendly farms.

Products from the “Les Bigoudènes Sans Gluten” farm are available from the vending machine at Le Croissant (Belle Vue) in Combrit. You can also find these products in a number of local producers’ stores in Brittany.

Cidrerie Maison de Perguet

Cidrerie Maison de Perguet is a family-run business based in Fouesnant. It produces traditional ciders, apple juices and cider vinegars from apples grown in the family orchard.

Cidrerie Maison de Perguet ciders are made from old-fashioned apple varieties typical of Brittany. They are naturally fermented, and some are aged in oak barrels. Our apple juices are also made from local apples. They are pressed on site and not pasteurized, to preserve their natural flavor.

The Cidrerie Maison de Perguet is open to the public in July and August from Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm, and on Saturday mornings from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Visit and tasting on Fridays at 2:00 pm. (Outside July and August, open to the public on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings).

Cidrerie Manoir du Kinkiz: A Breton nugget

The Manoir du Kinkiz cider house is located in Quimper, Brittany. It specializes in the production of ciders, apples and cider brandies.

The cider house is located on a 30-hectare estate, where 21 varieties of cider apples are grown. The apples are harvested by hand, then pressed to extract the juice. The juice is then fermented to produce cider.

Manoir du Kinkiz ciders and apples are renowned for their quality. They have won numerous awards, including the Concours Général Agricole de Paris.

Cidrerie Les Vergers de Kermao

Cidrerie Les Vergers de Kermao is a small family-run operation located in South Finistère, between Quimper and Bénodet. It is run by Brieug and Marine, the fifth generation of farmers on the farm.

The cider house’s orchards are home to some fifteen local varieties of cider apple, grown with respect for biodiversity. The apples are harvested by hand, then pressed to extract the juice. This juice is fermented naturally to produce cider, which is then aged in the bottle.

The cider house offers a wide range of products, including brut, demi-sec, doux, pommeau, cider brandy and apple juice. All products are certified organic and PGI (Protected Geographical Indication).

The cider house is open to the public all year round. You can learn about cider production, visit the orchards and taste the products.

Free tours of the cider house at 3pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons, no reservations required.
