A walk on the tip of Trévignon

Pointe de Trévignon

Located between Concarneau and Pont Aven , you will love discovering Trégunc and the tip of Trévignon.

The pointe de Trévignon is the starting point for many walks along the GR34, with a small fishing port on one side and aprotected natural area on the other, home to over 150 species of birds.

These ponds, known as loc’h, are a mixture of fresh and salt water. They are separated from the sea by a dune belt that stretches for 6km along long white sandy beaches.

To learn while having fun, download the app Ecobalade on your smartphone.
It will allow you to identify the flora and fauna encountered throughout your walk.
Ideal for motivating children!

It is a beautiful place whatever the weather.

On a clear day, you’ll have a breathtaking view of the Glénan, along the GR 34, and you can reach the end of the jetty, at the foot of the white and green square-section lighthouse dating from 1924.

When the sea is rough, you will be able to admire the ocean and take a bowl of spray absolutely disorienting!

On the tip of Trévignon, stands an imposing building, now private.
It’s the Artaud castle .
Occupied and looted during the Second World War, it was destroyed by a gigantic fire.
This emblematic castle was rebuilt identically in the 1950s.

A row of small boats moored in the harbor reflects the quiet charm of the Pointe de Trévignon, with a building labeled

At the port, you can watch the boats come and go and directly buy fresh fish and seafood.
The return from fishing varies according to the tides, between 9 and 10 a.m. in the morning and between 2 and 3 p.m. in the afternoon.

At the end of your walk, do not hesitate to stop at Port Pass , restaurant which offers a large terrace with a panoramic view to admire until sunset!
It is open 7 days a week in July and August.

And if you decide to return early, we have two options for you: Discover Nevez, the thatched cottages of Kerascoët and Tahiti beach, or stop off in Trégunc for some shopping: the town is home to three factory outlets of famous Breton brands: Guy Cotten, known for its famous yellow oilskins, the Brasserie de Bretagne, well known to beer lovers, and the Courtin cannery. What to fill up with memories!
