Our family campsite in La For\u00eat-Fouesnant welcomes families with young children in an ideal setting, just a few steps from the beach. No need to overload yourself with equipment: we provide the essentials for your little one’s comfort. <\/p>

Fully equipped accommodation for younger guests<\/h2>

Our mobile homes are designed to accommodate the whole family without you having to carry all your gear. When you book your stay, remember to ask for a cot and high chair: we’ll provide them free of charge. Simply specify this when you book. This equipment allows you to travel light, and is part of our camping services<\/a> aimed at making your stay as convenient as possible. <\/p>

Quiet, secure surroundings near the beach<\/h2>

Camping Les Saules has direct access to the beach, which makes all the difference when traveling with a baby. You can organize your outings by the water according to the rhythm of your naps, and give priority to the cooler hours of the day. This proximity avoids long car journeys with a toddler, a source of fatigue for the whole family. <\/p>

Within the campsite grounds, young children can enjoy specially adapted play areas, including a tree house, spring-loaded play equipment and other safe facilities. Our water park<\/a> includes a heated paddling pool where babies can splash around in complete safety. The 1,000 m\u00b2 of water space is surrounded by terraces and trees, making it easy to find a shady spot on sunny days. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Activities and outings with a baby<\/h2>

Southern Brittany is easy to discover with young children. Tourist trains are a practical option for visiting Quimper, Concarneau or B\u00e9nodet without tiring the little ones. These guided tours let you discover the region from the comfort of your own home, without having to worry about strollers or parking. <\/p>

The “vedettes de l’Odet” offer family-friendly sea outings. You can sail on the Odet river or reach the Gl\u00e9nan archipelago. These boat excursions offer a good compromise: they keep the kids busy for a few hours without tiring them out, and the motion of the water often lulls babies to sleep. <\/p>

For walks, several of the region’s parks and gardens are accessible by stroller. The Parc botanique de Cornouaille and the Domaine de Boutiguery in Gouesnac’h both have walkable paths. The Corniche de Concarneau also offers a rolling coastal path, ideal for a stroll at the end of the day. <\/p>

If you prefer to explore the region by bike, we offer bike hire in Fouesnant<\/a>. Baby seats are available on request, so you can enjoy the many cycle paths in the area with the whole family. For a variety of water-based activities, we also offer kayak and paddle rentals<\/a>, although these outings are best planned with older children or alternating with the other parent. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Local shops and services<\/h2>

When traveling with a baby, proximity to shops is a real advantage. A mini-market, pharmacy and doctor are all less than five minutes’ drive from the campsite. This accessibility reassures young parents and makes it easy to deal with the unexpected or everyday needs. <\/p>

The Cadro pharmacy, located on Place de l’\u00c9glise in La For\u00eat-Fouesnant, is open from Monday to Saturday until 7.30pm. You can go there for all the skincare and parapharmacy products you might need. The Carrefour Express in La For\u00eat-Fouesnant remains open from 8am to 8pm for your everyday shopping. <\/p>

For a more complete range of products, the Leclerc supermarket in Fouesnant has a large parapharmacy area. Here you’ll find diapers, baby milks and all products specifically for babies. From mid-May onwards, our small grocery store is open from 8am to 6pm. It offers everyday groceries, fresh bread to order and pastries, so you don’t have to leave the campsite for the basics. <\/p>

Flexible stays outside peak season<\/h2>

Travelling out of season with a baby has many advantages. At Camping Les Saules, you can book your arrival on any day of the week outside July and August. This flexibility means you can avoid busy weekends and cross-country traffic, which can quickly become trying with a toddler on board. <\/p>

The May, June and September periods also offer quieter camping, pleasant temperatures and fewer crowds on the beaches. The months of May, June and September offer a good compromise: mild temperatures, fewer crowds, and the possibility of booking your arrival day during the week. The water park is open and heated from mid-May.
